Welcome to the 22nd Annual Combined Talents
Florida International Competition
The Combined Talents Florida International is an annual, juried competition sponsored by the Florida State University Museum of Fine Arts. The competition is open to artists around the world who are 18 years of age or over. Artists may submit up to two works for consideration in the media of their choice. A $20.00 entry fee assists with funding for the competition, including production of a color catalog.

The works for exhibition are selected through a blind jurying process. Jurors select works based on their own merit and must agree the artist demonstrates skill within the chosen medium. The jury panel for the 2007 exhibition consisted of two faculty members from the Art Department at FSU and were as follows: Holly Hanessian (Assistant Professor of Art; MFA from the University of Georgia; Area(s) of Teaching: All levels of Ceramics); and Joe Sanders (Art Department Chair; MFA from Arizona State University; Area(s) of Teaching: Printmaking and Book Arts).

This year 359 artists entered the competition creating a total of over 700 works for the jurors to consider. After much deliberation, 65 pieces were selected for exhibition. These works represent a wide variety of media and are artistically diverse and unique.
