Addiction and Recovery (Walmsley Gallery)— Working with regional artists and their experiences. Co-curated by Art Therapists Amanda Alders & Dr. Marcia Rosal.

August 29 - October 2, 2011

The 26th Tallahassee International (Upper Gallery)— is an annual, juried competition. Jurors: Judy Rushin and Anne Stagg. From a field of 320 entrants, competing from across the nation and internationally, this year's Faculty jurors selected 54 works to be exhibited. The works represent a wide variety of media and are artistically diverse. Co-ordinator Jean Young [Catalogue] Reception September 2, 5-8pm. (Welcome for CVAT&D students begins at 5 pm.)

October 1 - November 13, 2011

American Dance Festival 2010: A Photographic Essay and Highlights from the Permanent Collection (Lower Gallery)— Photographs by Rick McCullough and students from the American Dance Festival in Durham, North Carolina.

The History of Photography (Walmsley Gallery)— A Study Exhibition, with works on loan from the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art and pieces selected by Dr. Adam Jolles from MoFA's Permanent Collection.

October 14 - November 20, 2011

Cute & Creepy (Upper Gallery)— Curated by Carrie Ann Baade. Catalog essay by Dr. Nancy Hightower on the literary grotesque, Revelatory Monsters. [Catalogue] Lecture by Judith Schaechter October 13 at 7pm in FAB 249. Opening Reception October 14, 7-9pm.
